Advanced Instrumental Analytical Laboratories

The Instrumental R&D Analytic laboratory in TAMI works under ISO 9001 accreditation. 

The Analytical Testing Services are based on proven experience in the performance of analyses for organic compounds/materials/ingredients in many industries such as: Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Medical devices, many branches of Chemical Industries (Paints, Coatings, 3D materials, Polymers), Fire Retardants, Biocides, Organic Intermediates, Agrochemicals, Cannabis and Plant-derived Materials, Food Additives, Cosmetics and other Industrial and Commercial fields. 


Lab capabilities and expertise 

  • Expertise in Structure Elucidation: Lab supports customer needs with the separation, collection, characterization, and identification of unknown components in both synthetic and natural mixtures 
  • Provide services for R&D projects/Organic Synthesis: from routine chemical analyses of raw materials, products, waste streams and by-products, to the development of new analytical methods and a complete analytical package (including additional complementary analyses
  • Solve complex analytical problems including analytic support in process or in product troubleshooting: Assay & Purity analysis, identification of contaminants/impurities.
  • Qualitative and Quantitative analysis of organic compounds 
  • Analytical consultant for relevant analytical options per R&D / Product requirements
  • Analysis of complex organic and inorganic mixtures, API analysis, trace analysis, water/wastewater/sea water, effluents, sludge, sediment and pollutant analyses. 
  • Failure analysis 
  • REACH analysis 


Equipment

  • NMR 500 MHz: 1H, 13C, 31P, 15N 19F, 29Si (and other nuclei) analysis including 1- and 2-dimensional correlations.
  • GC/MS: Gas chromatography / Mass spectrometry analytical tool for quantitative and qualitative analysis. 
  • Pyrolysis GC/MS: for elucidation of synthetic and nature polymers and multi-layer coatings.
  • HS GC/MS: VOC analysis
  • P&T GC/MS: VOC analysis
  • High resolution HPLC/MS (Q-TOF): quantitative and qualitative analysis. 
  • HPLC and GC-FID: Quantitative analysis. 
  • Preparative HPLC: Isolation/Purification of organic components for identification, activity testing and standardization.
  • GPC: Gel Permeation Chromatography (RI and UV detectors), for Molecular weight distribution of water-soluble polymers and polymers soluble in organic solvents 
  • HT GPC: High Temperature Gel Permeation Chromatography (RI, Intrinsic viscosity, LS and UV detectors), for Molecular weight distribution of polymers with limited solubility.
